LA quick trip

At the famous PINKS
getting hot dogs
I have always wanted to go here and get hot dogs. Worth the 45 minute wait.
Enjoying our chili dog
"cheese"
Next onto Sprinkles Cupcakes These were delicious! Shockingly on $3.25 a cupcake it is literally 2 blocks from Rodeo Drive, we were wondering how much a cupcake would cost there. I have actually paid more here in Utah for cupcakes
Santa Monica Pier Boardwalk
The Pier had lots of fun things to do and see
Seriously so cold and windy
End of the Pier
Ellie couldn't wait to take her shoes off then once we did she was scared of the sand she kept saying "oww" and wouldn't put her feet down
The Beach at Santa Monica
Fam shot
Marina Del Rey playing on the lifeguard post that says keep off...oops!
More sand and beach
Seriously the waves were huge!
enjoying a snack @ The Grove Farmer's Market
Which to pick...one of each!
Outside of the Grove Market Elliette and I were lucky enough to meet Jeremy on a long layover he had in Los Angeles. When he found out he had a 26 hour layover in LA he asked if we wanted to meet him there, then when we saw rental cars were only $15/day we reserved one and flew out Sunday morning really early. Jeremy always has free hotels where ever they overnight at, so he called ahead and let them know I was checking into his room early. Jeremy landed about 2 hours after we had gotten there. The original plan was go see some places and the beach and let Ellie swim and enjoy some sun, unfortunately it was cold when we got there so we never even swam once. We hit Pink's Hot Dogs, a place I have always wanted to go, then Sprinkles Cupcakes another place I have always wanted to go. We drove all over LA, down Rodeo drive then to Santa Monica Pier. The plan was to go somewhere nice for dinner, but after running around all day we went to Trader Joe's then got a pizza and headed to the room. We woke up early and hit another beach, then the most fun place that I wish we had more time at. It was the Grove, it's also called 3rd Street Grove. It has tons of outdoor nice stores then at the end is the "farmer's market" which is tons of vendors, food and treats. We got some pastries then had to head back to the hotel and return the rental car. We packed a ton into 2 days. Jeremy said it was the best layover he has had yet. Hopefully we can meet him more places.
