A little opinionated

I just know that jaws are dropping all over that I have an opinionated little girl...I have no idea where she would get that from. Lately it has been over clothes...yes, already!

I just know I am in trouble having a girl in general, and one who thinks she knows what is best
for her @ 17 months I am going to be in for it. Elliette is at such a fun stage, she makes us laugh every day. Now for a little opinion of my own... I am anxiously waiting for my 2nd camera I have bought in a month to arrive. The one I just bought in "my opinion" is blurry, does 12mp not mean anything! And Jeremy and I almost bought another last night to compare to the 2nd when it comes. It sucks, just want a camera that is fast and takes CLEAR pictures. So we'll see when it arrives this week if I like this one. We finally got a real date night, in forever, on Friday. It was the best we got to go have a yummy steak, go shopping and to a movie. I can't even remember the last time we did all and not just one of those activities together without Ellie. It was soooo nice. (side note: The Blind Side is a must see!) I can't wait for Christmas, although no presents under the tree yet, yes someone has a different opinion about opening them than we do! haha what are you going to do, love that little busy butt!

I can't believe another year has come and gone. We had our Annual Friends Chrsitmas Party and had such a good time. We always laugh way too hard, eat lots of food, try to catch up... if that is possible we have so much to say. Then we play the same game, the one where you can steal the gift. Which this year was more mellow than years past. You may think you have the best friends in the world, but sorry to say I do! I love you all! Thanks for all coming and those who traveled down to be there, it wouldn't be the same without you all there. See you next year!

This year we have lots to be thankful for, our growing family, an amazing daughter, my husband working in a job that he loves and a roof over our heads. Thanksgiving was so much fun, I got to tell my family we're expecting, then enjoy GG's cooking, followed by New Moon....again. Then black Friday shopping @ 2am, followed by the SF light parade, which was soooo much fun. We laughed so hard at some of the things going down. That is our new tradition. So hilarious!

Just got back from seeing New Moon, and LOVED it! I had such a fun time with the girls and to top if off we saw Edward and Jacob, to make the perfect night. Loved every second of it. I can't wait to go see it again. (Jeremy will love that I'm sure)

1st day no bottle...wish us luck!

Elliette just turned 16 months on Saturday, yes time to get off the bottle. She usually only has one in the morning and at night. Mostly because it is sooooo much easier in the mornings for me while rushing off to work. So no more excuses, today is the day to go off the bottle.
It is 9:15 and so far so good. She is a big girl now, no more babas. Now if I could only get her potty trained this early! haha

Happy Halloween! I love Halloween, and now with a daughter it is even more fun! Maybe because I love fall so much and Halloween just makes it perfect. Thanks to Jess, Elliette looked super cute this year. She didn't really know what was going on, but by the end of the night she sure was giving her bag to be filled up. We stopped by G'ma Lani's to see Jess, baby Crew, Addy and Joe. Elliette stole Addy's balloon (sorry Addy!) but she loved it, we took it everywhere we went, mainly because she wouldn't part with it. Jeremy was home this year so this year was so much fun, especially topped off with a little Joe Bandidos with the parents :)

Once again we made the trek down to Florida. First to Daytona then to Tampa to Jeremy's family. We packed in a lot of stuff this time. We did Sea World, the beach, saw lots of friends, went boating with Jeremy's brothers and sis and went to Busch Gardens! Whew!
It is always a whirlwind. We told everyone if you want to see us you better come out, we're not flying anymore. Ellie was good, just BUSY!!!! She also was allergic to her Target diapers down there and cut 2 back teeth, so that was fun! My camera broke on top of it all so I have no pics of Tampa or Busch Gardens. We had awesome weather the first of the week, notice long sleeves, then 92 degrees and a million percent humidity the rest, YUCK! I don't miss that part of living there. But I miss all of you! Hope to see you all soon....here skiing :) haha!

Once again we had such a fun time @ girls night. We ate at Cheesecake Factory, went to Gardner's Village then to Tiapan. We seriously laughed so hard and talked forever catching up. And came up with a million ideas we want to get together and make. Guess next girls night is going to be a crafty/project night. I love my friends they are the best! I absolutely LOVE fall, it is my favorite time of year! I think this is the most fun with spray paint you can have without getting into trouble. The pumpkins turned out so cute this year. We also made our trip to get pumpkins on Main Street. My house is decorated and I am burning fall candles, bring on the sweaters! LOVE IT!

Linda was just in town, and I wish she didn't have to go home! We love having Grandma come to stay. I love it because it is always full of shopping trips and yummy food. Some of the highlights were Taipan, Gardner's Village, Trolley Square, Thanksgiving Point and many parks. Her trips always go waaaay to fast, but this one flew. Probably because we were having so much fun.
Jessica came over last night and used Elliette as her Ghost model. Isn't this costume so sinkin cute! She is doing them in all sizes, hmmmmm I think Ellie might be ghost this year. :)
